Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before enrolling in or purchasing any program, course, or service offered by Dyslexia Success Academy, a program of Lifted Wings Learning, LLC ("DSA," "we," "us," "our"). By enrolling your child, completing a purchase, or checking the box marked "I Agree" at checkout, you ("you," "Parent," "Guardian") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not complete your purchase or enrollment.
DSA provides online dyslexia education for students in grades K–8 with suspected or diagnosed dyslexia ("Services"). Our Services include:
DSA’s instruction and curriculum are grounded in the Orton‑Gillingham Approach and delivered by Certified Dyslexia Specialists. The specific features included in each program are those described at the time of purchase.
To enroll a student in our Services, you must be the parent or legal guardian of the enrolled student and be at least 18 years of age. By enrolling, you represent that you have the legal authority to enroll the student and to agree to these Terms on their behalf.
Fees for Services are as stated at the time of purchase. You may pay in full at checkout or, where offered, choose a monthly payment plan (for example, three monthly payments for a 6‑month COREPlus™ enrollment). By choosing a payment plan, you authorize DSA to charge your payment method on each scheduled date until all payments are complete.
If a scheduled payment fails, your child’s access to the Services will be paused until the payment is made. Remaining scheduled payments are still owed, whether or not your child continues to use the Services.
We accept payment via the methods presented at checkout. Prices are subject to change, but any change will not affect an order already completed. All fees are stated in U.S. dollars.
Access to self‑paced programs, including CORE 4™ Reading Confidence and COREPlus™, lasts 6 months from the date of purchase. Access does not renew automatically, and you will not be charged again unless you choose to renew.
Families who enroll in COREPlus™ by Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET ("Founding Families") may renew COREPlus™ at $950 per 6‑month enrollment, or three monthly payments of $350, for 3 years from their original enrollment date.
To keep this rate, your child’s enrollment must stay continuous, meaning each renewal is completed before your current access period ends. If enrollment lapses, the locked rate no longer applies, and any later enrollment will be at the tuition rate in effect at that time. The Tuition Lock applies to COREPlus™ renewals only and cannot be transferred to any other family, student, or program within DSA.
COREPlus™ families who enroll by Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET receive a $300 credit toward a future enrollment in our LIVE Dyslexia Success System™. The credit has no cash value, may not be transferred, and may not be applied to COREPlus™ tuition or renewals. LIVE enrollment is subject to class availability.
If your child completes at least 90% of their COREPlus™ lessons and Success Portfolio assignments and attends at least one LIVE Learning Lab™ in real time each week for 20 weeks of their 6‑month enrollment (watching replays does not count), but you are not satisfied with their progress, DSA will provide the following at no extra cost:
To request the Success Guarantee, contact [email protected] before the end of your child’s 6‑month access period. Eligibility is confirmed using DSA’s lesson, assignment, and attendance records. The Success Guarantee is not a refund and has no cash value.
All purchases of self‑paced programs, including CORE 4™ Reading Confidence and COREPlus™, are final. Because each enrollment includes physical materials shipped to your home and immediate access to digital content, we do not offer refunds, returns, or credits once a purchase is completed. For eligible COREPlus™ families, the Success Guarantee in Section 7 applies. LIVE, cohort‑based programs are governed by the enrollment and payment terms provided at the time of sign‑up.
Physical materials, including the Multisensory Toolkit, ship to the U.S. mailing address you provide at checkout. Please allow at least 5 business days for delivery. Your child will need the toolkit to begin lessons. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. If your materials arrive damaged or do not arrive, contact [email protected].
DSA uses trusted third‑party service providers to deliver our Services, including platforms for instruction, live video sessions, assessment, payment processing, communications, and shipping. We share your information with these providers only as needed to deliver our Services, and they may use it only for that purpose.
DSA uses Seesaw to deliver instructional content and collect student work. By enrolling your child, you acknowledge that the following student data may be collected and stored through Seesaw: video and audio submissions, written work, journal entries, and progress records. This data is retained only for the duration of your child’s active enrollment plus a reasonable administrative period thereafter, and is used to deliver instruction, track progress, and provide feedback to your family, and, with your permission as described in Section 13, in our marketing. Seesaw’s own privacy and data‑handling terms, available at seesaw.com/privacy-security, govern its handling of this data.
Your child’s Dyslexia Success Profile™ Reading Assessment is completed through a third‑party online assessment platform. Your child’s responses and results are stored on that platform and are used to prepare your 7‑Skill Clarity Report™ and to track your child’s progress.
We do not sell student data.
Because DSA serves students in grades K–8, many are under 13. By enrolling your child, you affirm you are their parent or legal guardian and consent, on their behalf, to the data collection described in these Terms, in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
You may review your child’s information, request that it be deleted, or ask us to stop collecting it at any time by contacting [email protected]. Because student work is part of instruction, deleting it or stopping collection may limit your child’s ability to participate in some parts of the Services.
Your child may create video or audio recordings submitted through our platforms as part of coursework. By enrolling, you consent to these recordings being uploaded to a private, moderated portal (including the Confidence Club™) visible only to currently enrolled DSA families and staff, never the general public. DSA reviews and moderates all content before it is shared in this portal.
LIVE Learning Labs™ are recorded so that families can watch replays. Lab replays are available for 30 days and only to currently enrolled DSA families and staff. Parent Education Series sessions are also recorded, and replays are available only to currently enrolled DSA families. If your child joins with their camera or microphone on, their name, image, and voice may appear in the recording. Your child may join with their camera off.
Portal members may view content but may not download, screenshot, record, or redistribute it outside the portal. DSA is not liable for a portal member’s violation of this restriction.
All DSA lessons, videos, LIVE session and Parent Education Series recordings, curriculum, assessments, reports, and other program materials are the proprietary content of Lifted Wings Learning, LLC. They are provided for your family’s personal, non‑commercial use during your child’s enrollment. You may not copy, download, record, screenshot, post, sell, or share this content, or your account login, with anyone outside your household.
By enrolling your child in any of our programs, you, as parent or legal guardian and on your child’s behalf, grant DSA the right to use your and your child’s name, image, and likeness, including photos, video, work samples, and testimonials submitted through coursework or shared with us, in our marketing materials, website, and social media.
You may revoke this consent at any time by contacting [email protected], and doing so will not affect your child’s enrollment or instruction. Content already published or running in active marketing campaigns at the time of revocation may remain in use until that specific placement concludes.
If you provide your mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from DSA about your enrollment, scheduling, program updates, and offers. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or text messaging consent with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Only the enrolling parent or legal guardian is granted account access, unless DSA is notified in writing of an additional authorized guardian. DSA relies on the enrolling parent’s representation of their authority to enroll the student and is not responsible for verifying custody arrangements.
Do not submit Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, credit card numbers, or protected health information through any course materials, journals, video submissions, or communications with DSA.
DSA may suspend or end access to the Services if you or your child violate these Terms, including the portal rules in Section 12, or misuse the Services. Otherwise, you keep access for the full access period you purchased, subject to the payment terms in Section 3.
Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While DSA is committed to providing high‑quality, dyslexia‑specific instruction, we do not guarantee specific academic outcomes, reading levels, or results for any individual student, as progress depends on many factors outside our control, including student engagement and consistency of participation. Except for the Success Guarantee described in Section 7, DSA makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Services beyond what is expressly stated in these Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DSA’s total liability arising out of or related to your purchase of Services will not exceed the total amount you paid to DSA for the Services in question. DSA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Maryland.
DSA may update these Terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we will notify you by email or by posting an updated version on our website. Continued enrollment or use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms, together with any Service Order or enrollment agreement you complete, constitute the entire agreement between you and DSA regarding your purchase and use of the Services, and supersede any prior agreements or communications on this subject.
